"There is no light without day"

He was born in San Fernando, Cádiz into a humble family of fishermen and shellfish collectors. From a very young age he was marked by the musical influences of the Isla de León and the province of Cádiz, which saw him grow and mature as a flamenco singer and artist.

Raised in the Las Callejuelas neighborhood, his life passed between selling fish, soccer and music. He stepped foot in a theater for the first time at the age of eight, presenting himself as spontaneous, from a poster announcing the artists of the La Alameda theater directed by maestro Tejero. Antonio asked the teacher to listen to him. The impact was so great that two days later, Antonio Caña made his debut at the same Alameda Theater with the maestro Tejero's orchestra to great fanfare.2
