He was born in San Fernando, Cádiz into a humble family of fishermen and shellfish collectors. From a very young age he was marked by the musical influences of the Isla de León and the province of Cádiz, which saw him grow and mature as a flamenco singer and artist.

Raised in the Las Callejuelas neighborhood, his life passed between selling fish, soccer and music. He stepped foot in a theater for the first time at the age of eight, presenting himself as spontaneous, from a poster announcing the artists of the La Alameda theater directed by maestro Tejero.
