Originally from Ciudad Guzmán, Jalisco, Mexico. He grew up in Chicago where he arrived when he was 10 years old. She is currently based in Madrid, Spain.

She is the first Mexican woman flamenco guitarist, and considered an international reference by the Spanish newspaper El País.

Graduated with honors from Northern Illinois University with a BA in Classical Guitar in Dekalb, IL. with Master Fareed Haque. She also has an Associate of Arts degree from Morton College in Cicero, IL., as well as being a graduate of the Merit School of Music Children's Conservatory in Chicago.

He began his flamenco guitar studies at the age of 16 in Chicago under the direction of the Spanish maestro Jesús de Araceli, who was doing an artistic residency in the company of the bailaora Azucena Vega.

Andrea is an artist in residence at the Instituto Cervantes Chicago.

He has studied in Spain at the "Cristina Heeren Foundation" with Eduardo Rebollar, master classes at the Córdoba Guitar Festival with Manolo Sanlúcar, Juan Manuel Cañizares and Daniel Navarro "Niño de Pura", and in Madrid intensive course with Aquilino Jiménez "El I got in."

During his artistic career he has performed on important stages and festivals in Mexico, Spain, the United States, Colombia, the Czech Republic and China.

In 2019 he traveled to Spain to continue his studies at the "Fundación Conservatorio Flamenco Casa Patas" in Madrid under the direction of José Manuel Montoya. It debuted in Spain at the "Festival Ellas Crean 2019" during the event "From Jalisco to Cádiz". He has participated in the festival "Suma Flamenca 2020", "Festival Ellas Crean 2021" in collaboration with jazz players Trinidad Jiménez and Ernesto Aurignac, "Festival Jerez OFF 2021", and the festival "Flamenco Joven 2021". He also participates in the "Flamenco Festival Arles" in France.

He completed three years of advanced flamenco studies at the Casa Patas Flamenco Conservatory. Study the prestigious "New Skills 4 New Artists" program at the Reina Sofia Conservatory, in collaboration with the Erasmus program of the European Union, the Cork Institute of Technology in Ireland, and the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Belgium. He is also studying the course "Flamenco, a multidisciplinary aesthetic universe" organized by the Chair of Flamencology at the University of Córdoba, under the direction of David Pino.

In 2022 Andrea presents her first album entitled "Fuente y Cauce de la Guitarra Flamenca", which is a tribute to the guitar masters who inspired her, recorded with the important producer and teacher Jesús de Rosario. He also toured the United States where he presented this new recording material at the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago, at his alma mater Northern Illinois University, at the Mexican Cultural Institute at the Mexican Embassy in Washington, D.C. , and in California.
